Ready for the Beach: Two Seaside Looks

Where are you headed on vacation this summer? We hope there's a beach trip in your planner. Maybe you're headed somewhere tropical like Costa Rica, traveling to a secluded Spanish island, or headed down to your family's lake home. You'll want a few beach bum outfit essentials: Sunglasses, cutoff shorts, a floral dress, comfortable sandals and comfy coverups.

From drinks at the local bar to smore's by the campfire, here are two looks to inspire your next beach vacation style...

Comfy Cool and Neutral

Summer fashion essentials don't get much more necessary than the jean short. Our distressed white jean shorts always make us think of the beach. The light grey utility jacket is the perfect layering essential for protecting you from the chilly sea breeze.

About the Outfit

The white jean shorts are the perfect coverup over a cute white bathing suit or crop top. Not only will they compliment a tan, but they'll keep you sexy and cool even when you aren't splashing around. Our cotton bralette is a nice alternative when you don't want to wear a wet bathing suit. You can also layer it under a tank top to create a bathing suit effect. Slip on super comfortable sandals to be prepared for any walk along the boardwalk or beach.

Tropical Cutie

Nothing says "I'll have a margarita" like a tropical print dress. This ruffled off-the-shoulder dress is ready to catch a beachside wind. The comfy number will show off sun-kissed shoulders over drinks by the pool.

How to Wear it

This dress is a great coverup to wear from your house to the ocean. You can show your bathing suit straps or tuck them in for a more polished vibe. Slip on tan sandals for the really long walks. Don't forget the shades! We've got new sunglasses in our boutique at 431 N. Ridge Road.
