Veritas Vineyard and Winery (151 Veritas Ln, Afton, VA)
There is a reason this place is popular. You'll have a hard time choosing where to enjoy a picnic at Veritas on its sprawling lawn. Pair one of its ready-to-go cheese plates with a bottle of your favorite wine.
Pollak Vineyards (330 Newton Road, Greenwood, VA)
Bring your own snacks and spread out at a picnic table after tasting here. You'll want to stop and take in the view. Unlike other wineries, its easy to find a place all your own at Pollak.
Cardinal Point Winery & Vineyard (9423 Batesville Rd, Afton, VA)
This little doggy guards the entry way at Cardinal Point Winery. Don't worry, he's just as sweet and as thirsty as you. As for the wine, take time to taste and learn about the vineyard's 10 different wine varieties.
Flying Fox Vineyard (27 Chapel Hollow Rd, Afton, VA)
There is a little fox that looks over this winery from a weathervane perched above its main building. Grab a glass and take a seat in a rocking chair on the porch and soak up the rolling blue mountains.
Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery (2800 Berry Hill Rd, Nellysford, VA)
You’ll find more than grapes in your wine here. Stop and try something on the sweeter side like the Virginia Blackberry Wine and the Viking Era Honey Mead. Yum!
Shop the perfect winery outfit here. May we suggest a maxi dress?
